Seafood in General: Fresh fish and shell fish should be used within 2-3 days. Once cooked,
fish can be stored additional 3-4 days. Shell fish should be used within 2
days.
To Freeze Fish: A vacuum food sealer is best. The other option is
to freeze in zip lock plastic bags with enough water in the bag to cover the
fish.
To Thaw: Put frozen fish in the refrigerator 1-2 days before
using.
Portion: Generous adult serving for steak or fillet is 8 oz for
whole fish or 3/4 lb for dressed fish.
